Bertha E. McDaniel, 408 Ridge avenue, died Sunday at home. A teacher in the Chicago school system until her death, Mrs. McDaniel was a graduate of St. Xavier Academy in Chicago and Northwestern. She was born in Chicago and moved to Evanston 10 years She was the wife of the late Alexander W. McDaniel. There were no survivors. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Scott Chapel, with burial in Memorial Park.
