CARSONVILLE — Mrs. Ella Hoffman, 66, Carsonville, died Monday, October 12, 1970 in the County Medical Care Facility after a long illness.

Mrs. Hoffman, the former Ella Dunlap, was born Jan 12, 1904, in Palms, and was married to Orville Wismer in 1923. He died in 1945. She later married Allister Hoffman on Dec.22, 1956.

Mrs. Hoffman is survived by her husband; three sons, Donald Wismer, Palms, Harley Wismer, Clio, and Daryl Wismer, Mt. Clemens; 11 grand-children; a great grandchild; a Stepdaughter, Mrs. Eileen Kirkbride, Carsonville; a step-son, John Hoffman, Saline, Mich.; four brothers, James Dunlap, Taylor Center, Harvey Dunlap, Holly, Mich., Stanley Dunlap, Forestville, and Nelson Dunlap, Deckerville; a sister, Mrs. Florence Jones, Detroit; a son, Warren, was killed in World War II.

The remains were in the Carman Funeral Home, Deckville, where services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Alan Weeks, pastor of the Deckerville United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial was in Downing Cemetery, Deckerville.
