When Michael was born in April 2009, he was premature due to his mother using drugs. Not long before he died he was just returned to his mother after being placed in foster care along with his brothers. He dealt with hardships in life that no child should ever go through but he still always mangaged to put on a big smile that would just light up a room.
Micheal died after injuries from abuse. A service was held for him but when it was time for his final resting place, no one has came forward to arrange it. Michael was cremated and his ashes were suppose to have been picked up by his biological father but that never happened and the funeral home could not find his father after they were told he would pick up his son's ashes. It seems that this precious little boy had been abondoned in life and in death. The City of Brighton are working on a plan to donate a burial space, a headstone and a service for him this fall at Elmwood Cemetery.
