FREDERICKTOWN — Larry L. Brokaw, 72, of Fredericktown, passed away May 2, 2011, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born Aug. 16, 1938, in Delaware, Ohio, to William R. and Lena (Zimmer) Brokaw. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Colleen (Styers) Brokaw of Fredericktown; a daughter, Kelly Brokaw of Mount Vernon; a son, Sean (Sheri) Brokaw of Howard; and three sisters, Donna Butts of Ashtabula, Geri (Carl) Pipher of Wooster and Judy Smith of Niles. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Larry L. Brokaw II. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home, 212 N. Main St., Mount Vernon. Private graveside funeral services will be held in Hopewell Cemetery.
