Minnie Markley Clewell
Minnie M. Markley Clewell, 93, of 640 Cypress St., Lehighton, died Tuesday in her home. She was the wife of the late William Clewell and Raymond Markley.
She was a sewing machine operator at the former Peerless Mills, Lehighton, for 15 years before retiring in 1955.
Born in Emanuelsville, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Anna (Nolf) Bilheimer.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lehighton.
Survivors: Daughters, Marie, wife of Donald Hontz of Lehighton; Mrs. Jean Beck of Texarkana, Ark., and Marion, wife of John Stein of Hollywood, Fla.; son, Guy Markley of Tampa, Fla,; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
