Age 70, Dies
TAFT - Alvin Booth Crow, 70, who opened the Crow Garage, one of the first busineses here, in 1921, died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in a Sinton hospital after a short illness. He had lived here since 1909. He was a member of Taft Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge here and was an Army veteran of World War II. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Brownsville under direction of Cage-Marshall Funeral Home here. Among survivors is a brother, O. K. Crow of Corpus Christi. Also surviving are two other brothers, E. I. Crow of Taft and A. D. Crow of Brownsville.
