Flora Dean Holland - Hutchins passed away May 3rd, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on a farm near Tipton, Oklahoma in Tillman County on January 26th, 1928 to William Jasper Hayes and Bryan Carrigan. In 1946 she married Martin Odell Holland in Frederick, Oklahoma, and they had a farm in Oktaha, Oklahoma. After January, 1958 she shouldered the burden of being a widow and had to raise three young boys. In June of 1958 she also lost the help of her mother, Bryan. She attended Bacone College and worked for ACME Engineering, the Army Corps of Engineers, Oklahoma Natural Gas and the Social Security Administration in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She retired in Tulsa from the Social Security Administration's Hearing and Appeals Division after 42 years of service. She spent her last four years in Las Vegas, Nevada. She endured the deaths at young ages of her husband Martin, her mother Bryan, her son Gary Richard and her grandson Kim Raymond. She is also preceded in death by her third husband Charles Henry Hutchins and her son Gregory Martin. Flo is survived by her son Jeffery Dean Holland and his wife Karen. Flo's Grandchildren are Richard Christopher Holland and his wife Tamara, Jeffery Dean Holland Jr. and his wife Dianeth, Jeremy Drew McCarty and Zachary Martin Holland. Flo also has eight Great Grandchildren; LaKimberly Josephine, Bailey LaRen, Justine, Lissete Arely, John Caden, Joshua, Ariel Janaya and Gary Dean. Flo was a wonderful lady, loved by all, and she will certainly be sorely missed. Family and friends know her enduring expressions were "what ever!", and "I love you the most!" Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel, 1830 N. York St., Muskogee, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home.
