Mary Taylor Rice was the daughter of James McNaughton Rice 1834-1910 and Lydia Matilda Allard 1833-1909. She married Charles Dexter on 27 March 1890, Rensselaer County, New York. To this union were born: Margaret, Jennie, Lidia, Oliver 1902-1981.
Daughter of American Revolution Ancestor #A095117 "Silas Rice".

MRS. MARY DEXTER
Mrs. Mary Rice Dexter, 89, of 15 116th Street, died Saturday at the Residence.
Mrs. Dexter was the widow of Charles Moses Dexter, and was for many years a member of Christ and St Barnasbas Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Babbs of Miami, Florida, Mrs Jennie D Lawrence of Troy and Mrs. Samuel T Keck of Elmira; a Son Oliver S Dexter of Troy;
four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The funeral will be from the residence tomorrow at 930am and at 10am from Christ and St Barnabas Church, where the burial office will be said.
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
