The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Martha Beaumont, wife of W. P. Beaumont, 4625 Ross Avenue, who died Saturday morning after a brief illness, will be held at the residence at 10 a. m. Monday. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Beaumont was a daughter of the late A. J. Evans, a prominent attorney of Waco and San Antonio, having been United States attorney for the Southern District of Texas from 1878 until his death in 1897. She was a member of the Christian Church for the last 25 years, a Daughter of the American Revolution, a Daughter of the Republic of Texas, and also a Daughter of the Confederacy.
Mrs. Beaumont is survived by her husband, and four daughters, Mrs. J. M. Cornett of Fort Worth, Mrs. A. C. Alford of Houston, Mrs. J. P. Boyer and Miss Patricia Beaumont of Dallas. [pallbearers named]
