Rosario Passarelli was a Private First Class in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was late returning to camp after being on leave, he was shipped to the front. He gave his life for his country and was killed in action on October 4, 1951 at the age of 18 years. He was much to young to die. He and his brother Eugene were my neighbors and very good childhood friends of mine. The family was devastated and I miss him very much.
