Colin R. Caddell Jr., 70, of the 500 block of Harmon St., a retired teacher and coach, died September 5, 1991, in a hospital.

Mr. Caddell was born in Norfolk. He taught at Granby High School for 26 years and helped coach the tennis team to a state championship. He had been a trainer for the Norfolk Neptunes and Tidewater Tides. He was a member and elder of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a daughter, Elaine C. Callis of Greensboro, N.C.; two sons, Colin R. Caddell III of Greensboro and Brian S. Caddell of Virginia Beach; and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. John Monroe. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
