He was a very hard working man. He had farmed, worked as a cheese maker in the Tiskilwa Cheese factory, but most of all he loved to raise flowers in his garden, he also had vegetable gardens all over town, to help feed his large family. He helped ladies in town with their gardens also, that did not have anyone else to help them & he would share his produce. He loved to play checkers with his grandchildren & he would really giggle when he beat them at checkers or cards. He had beautiful blonde naturally curly hair, right up to the day he died. He loved to tease his grandchildren too.
