Wilbur L. Elsworth was born Feb. 29, 1912 at Langdon, Kansas and died Jan. 20, 1986 in Hutchinson. He was 73 years of age.
He was a retired auto mechanic and a retired farmer/stockman.
He was a member of the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church and was a WWII Army veteran.
Wilbur was married to Joyce Snell on March 14, 1949 in Kingman. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Walter L. Elsworth, of Pretty Prairie; and a daughter, Melody Alice Richard, of Wichita; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Joyce.
A memorial has been established with the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church of the Kansas Lung Association in his name.
Interment is at the Lerado Cemetery.
