CLEVELAND--Leslie F. Milam, 48, died at his home at 201 Colonial Drive, in Cleveland at 5:45 a. m. Friday after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at 4 p. m. Saturday from the chapel of Fletcher Funeral Home in Cleveland. Rev. Macklyn Hubbell officiated. Burial was in Drew City Cemetery.

Fletcher Funeral Home had charge.

A native of Charleston, Mr. Milam received his education in the public schools there. During World War II he served with the U.S. Air Force Paratroopers. He was engaged in the grocery business and had farming interests at Glendora before moving to Cleveland.

In 1949 he was married to the former Frances Moody of Drew and they made their home in Cleveland for the past 15 years. He retired in December 1973, due to ill health. Mr. Milam was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Charleston.

In addition to his wife he leaves six brothers, S. L. Milam, Roy Bryant and James Bryant, all of Ruleville, J. W. Milam of Greenville, Dan Milam of Pascagoula and Raymond Milam of Dresden, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Campbell of Cleveland, Mrs. Alene Winston of Bellbrook, Ohio, and Doris Bryant of Ruleville.
