Ann was born on March 2, 1929, in St. Paul. She moved to Lake Elmo in 1948 and has been residing in Mesa during the winter for the past 37 years. Ann and Gene were married in 1948 and together had nine children.
Ann is survived by her husband Gene; children Jane (Paul) Dobbs, Bruce Peltier, Nancy (Dan) Kuckler, Paul (Sandy) Peltier, Caron (Terry) Atkinson, Lee Peltier, Mark Peltier, Julie (George) Tait, and Jack (Sue) Peltier; 25 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings twin sister Catherine (Leonard) Schmidt, Connie Berens, Clare Vogel, Marion Theis, Alice (Jerry) Pahl, James (Alice) Vogel, and many nieces, nephews and friends that she touched with her giving heart.
Ann was preceded in death by parents Mary and Peter Vogel; brothers John (Dorothy) Vogel, Joseph Vogel; son-in-law Loren Wenzel, daughter-in-law Debbie Peltier.
Ann's spiritual presence will fill our hearts with joy and hope. She will be missed deeply but rejoice that she will surely be blessed in heaven as she rejoins our heavenly Father and all of those who have gone before her.
A mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Ann's beautiful life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 Fourth St. N. in Oakdale.
