Funeral services for Micki Lynn Sweeten, 23 of Sulphur were held Friday, May 7, at the Murray County Chapel, Sulphur. Rev. Ed Rhoades officiated and burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery. McAffrey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sweeten died May 4 in Ardmore Memorial Hospital of injuries sustained in a car accident. She was returning to Sulphur from Ardmore when the one car accident occurred. She attended the Pentecostal Holiness church and had attended Sulphur schools. She was born August 16, 1958.
Survivors are her husband, Mike Sweeten; and one son, Stephen, both of the home; her father, Don Lancaster of Allen; her mother, Ruby Lancaster of Sulphur; three brothers, Barry Lancaster of Davis, Brian Lancaster of Ada and Bradley Lancaster of Sulphur; one sister, Roni Hardoin, of Sulphur; maternal grandmother, Rachel Higginbotham of Sulphur; maternal grandfather, Cecil Higginbotham of Ardmore; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Morton of Walker, Mo.
