Cyrus Nickson ("Uncle Nick") Ketcherside was the third of nine known children (they may have had eleven) of James Hosey Ketcherside (1842-1908) and his second known wife, Mary A. Brents (1849-1934), who married 15 Jun 1871 at Conway County, Arkansas. James had three known children by his first wife, Teresa Sutton (1843-???), who m he married 03 Feb 1863 at Hempstead County, Arkansas.

Cyrus first married to Luvada Florence Hill (1881-1937) on
28 Jul 1901 at Newton County, Arkansas. Cyrus and Luvada were the parents of ten known children, namely:

1. Lara Ketcherside (1903=1903)
2. Thomas Garfield Ketcherside (1904-1948)
3. Nancy Elizabeth Ketcherside Ezell (1906-2002)
4. Sherman Bigry "Biggie" Ketcherside (1907-1970)
5. Bertha Tennessee Ketcherside Cacy (1910-1996)
6. James Oscar Ketcherside (1912-2005)
7. Dennis Ketcherside (1916-1919)
8. Emma Lucinda Ketcherside O'Daniel (1920-2005)

After Luvada died, Cyrus remarried to Dora Mae Conner (1873-1952) in 1939, but had no known additional children. After Dora died, Cyrus remarried to Edith V. Coffman (1877-1956). After Edith died Cyrus remarried to Luella Barlow (1882=???).
