Andrew was born on the family farm in Harlan Michigan. He joined the Marines in 1940 - where he met the love of his life, Virginia. He fought in the Pacific portion of WWII. He returned back to the states and built a home in Karlin, Michigan, where he and Virginia raised their six children.
Andrew loved his children and grandchildren. He loved to play jokes on them and on others. He was a very hard worker his entire life, but was never fully healthy after WWII. He died unexpectedly in April of 1969
