Founder of Blytheville. Built Blythe's Chapel Church in 1875 - The landmark of Methodism here + licensed to preach in 1862 + ordained an elder May 19, 1872. Charter member of Chickasawba Lodge 134 F. & A.M. First Postmaster 1879. Member of Arkansas Legislature in 1886
