Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2011 at Lamberts Funeral Home in Roseville Calif., Mass at 11 a.m. on May 8,2011 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church Roseville, Interment immediately following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery Sacramento Calif. All who knew Louis are invited to a celebration of Life Friday, May 8, 2011 at 3 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Grange Hall on Bell Rd., Auburn Calif.

Suggested edit: Louis Charles Couvrette was born April 20, 1912 in Fargo North Dakota to Dr. George Joseph Couvrette and Laura Jean Desautels. he moved with his parents and seven siblings to San Diego California in 1920. Louis married Floribel Patricia Barngrover in 1934. He moved with his wife and children to Roseville in 1941. He was a career Civil Service employee and retired from McClellan AFB in 1970. He was a very kind and gentle man and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. Louis was predeceased by his wife, Floribel, his parents and six of his siblings. He is survived by his three children, Yvonne Wonders (Marlin), Joe Couvrette (Rosemary) and Sue Spillers. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, Michael (Tina) Couvrette, Don (Kari) Couvrette, Vicky (Keith) Lundt, Bill (Tony) Brooks, Jim Hirliman, Paul (Martha) Hirliman, John (Donna) Hirliman, Peggy Small, Rick (Miki) Couvrette, Debbie (George) Sachs, Steve (Icel) Couvrette, mark (Debi) Couvrette, Diana (Russ) Borman, Tom (Linda) Couvrette, David Spillers and Amy Adame.
