Funeral services for James R. Rankin, 78, who died at the home of his son, J. A. Rankin, Oak Grove, route 3, Wednesday night, will be held Friday morning at 11 o'clock at the Goodhope, Miss., church, with the Rev. D. W. Molder, officiating.

Mr. Rankin had been making his home with his son on route 3 for the past five months. He is a native of Goodhope.

He is survived by, other than his son, J. A., another son, Madison Rankin, McGhee, Miss., two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Burch, Tyler Town, Miss., Mrs. Mary Jan Bishop, McGhee, Miss., and sister, Mrs. Beulah Dollar, Ellisville, Miss., six grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Catron-Gay Funeral home.
