Thelma R. Truax Age 81, of East Canton, passed away Sunday January 17, 2010. She was born December 2, 1928 in Mapleton, OH to the late Junius and Maude (Mottice) Barrick. Thelma was a life resident of the Mapleton area and a member of Indian Run Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Truax in 1972; one son, James Dewey Truax in 1954; an infant daughter; one sister, Zenella Lane; two brothers, Carl and Earl Barrick; a special friend and companion, Virgil Fisk in 1997. She is survived by three daughters, Pat Albert of Canton, Nancy Clawson of Canton, Gloria Ulm of East Canton; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Marie Bigler of East Canton. A private family funeral will be in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Terry Bailey officiating.
Interment will be in Mapleton Cemetery.
