Micki Jo Brown Cooper
Micki passed away Friday, May 23, 2008, at the Legacy Hopewell House Hospice in Portland, Oregon.
Born January 4, 1947, in Chattanooga, she grew up in Rockwood, TN. where she was known to many as "Jody." An avid painter who studied under Priscilla Hauser, Micki was a teacher of tole painting and a member of the Society of Decorative Painters.
Micki was preceded in death by her mother, Opal Jurene Harris Brown, and her love, Paul Gravitt.
Survivors include her father, William Brown, Sr. of Harrison; brother, Steve Brown of Rossville, GA; brother, William Brown, Jr, of Jasper; son-in-law and daughter, Shawn and Tabitha Dunn of Seattle, WA; the apple of her eye, granddaughter Samantha Dunn; son, Bill Devaney of Martinez, CA; and dear friend, Tammy McFarland of Glen St. Mary, FL.
Graveside service and interment will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Lakewood Memory Gardens West, Cummings Road near Birmingham Hwy. 11, in Tiftonia, Tennessee.
Husbands: Howard Devaney, Jerry Stephen Allen, Eugene Frank Militello, Richard Thomas Massey, Rex Brock and David Earl Cooper.
