Elizabeth Mae Jungels, 25, Enderlin, ND, died Saturday, November 5, 2005 from injuries suffered in an accident.
Elizabeth Mae Hoglund was born April 15, 1980 in Fargo, ND. She was raised on the family farm in rural Fargo and graduated from West Fargo High School, then earned an associate degree in Accounting from the State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND. She married David Jungels April 28, 2001 in the Maple Sheyenne Lutheran Church, rural Harwood. David and Elizabeth made their home on a farm near Enderlin. Elizabeth worked at the First National Bank in Lisbon, ND.
She was actively involved in 4-H and high school rodeo. She grew up showing Clydesdales and was an active member of the North Dakota Draft Horse Association. Elizabeth was a mentor to many young people, sharing her passion for working with and showing horses. She also enjoyed trail riding and hunting with her husband and dad.
She is survived by her husband, David; parents, Garfield and Mary Hoglund, rural Fargo; sister, Sari (Derik) Kraft, Harwood, ND; brother, James Hoglund, Nevada, IA; grandparents, Eugene and Ernestine Davidson, Fargo; nephews and niece, Tanner and Madison Kraft and Ian Jungels. Also surviving are her parents-in-law, Duane and Debra Jungels, Grand Forks, ND; brother-in-law, Allan (Kris) Jungels, Altus, OK; sister-in-law, Leann Jungels, Grand Forks, ND and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Lorraine Hoglund and Elmer and Marge Forester.
Visitation: Thursday from 5 to 7 in West Funeral Chapel, West Fargo, with a prayer service at 7 and one hour before the funeral in the church.
Funeral: Friday, November 11, 2005 at 1 in the Maple Sheyenne Lutheran Church, rural Harwood, ND.
Burial: Maple Sheyenne Cemetery
