Esther A., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Byron T. Vangilder, of Borden, was born December 23, 1911, and died Saturday morning, December 27, 1913, at the age of 2 years and 4 days. The parents with their only child went to visit Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Vangilder, north of town, and while there the child was taken with the dreaded disease, diphtheria. Burial Sunday morning in the Olive Branch Cemetery.
