He was born in Colorado. He attended Denver Barber School and was a barber in Colorado before he retired and moved to KLamath Falls in 1976.
Mr. Isabell married Mae Schneider Oct. 29, 1934, and he married Evelyn McLelland, April 14, 1978. Both survive.
He was an avid fisherman, bow hunter and outdoorsman until he suffered a stroke in August 1989.
Survivor include his daughter and son-in-law, Earla and John Patton, Klamath Falls; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Lani, Klamath Falls; stepdaughters and step-sons-in-law, Marcia and Dale Petraek, Central Point and Andrea and Dan Rollins, Medford; brother, James, Denver; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
