The Siggins reunion was held at Irvineton, Pa. yesterday. The first reunion of the Siggins family, one of the oldest and largest families in this section, was held in Brokenstraw Park, at Irvineton, yesterday and was attended by upwards of 200 direct and indirect members of the family. The Tidioute orchestra was present and furnished splendid music. The idea of the reunion originated with Mrs. Sabina Parker (Siggins) (130) of Chautauqua, New York and Mr. John Siggins (206) of Tidioute was made general manager of the affair. John W. Siggins (149) of Bradford, gave a good speech as did John Siggins (206) of Tidioute. Miss Justina Siggins (307) of West Hickory, read a well prepared history of the Siggins family. Isaac W, Siggins (151) of Shoustown, McKean Co. Pa. spoke of the many Siggins' CW soldiers and their struggles. Shall we have a reunion next year? A committee consisting of Jno Siggins (149) of Bradford, Benjamin B. Siggins (545) of Youngstown, Warren Co. Pa. and Dave Henry Siggins (555) of Warren, Warren Co. Pa. were appointed to fix the time and place for the next reunion. The next reunion would be at the same place on the Third Wednesday of June 1896. A representation of the family tree of the Siggins' was displayed and admired by all. It dates back to 1793 and has 375 names included upon it.

The Siggins reunion Wed last on such an occasion as a family reunion the weather is a prime factor of success; surly no one could complain on the weather at the fourth annual reunion of the Siggins family held at the fairgrounds in Warren. About one hundred and fifty guests were present: some coming from Vermont, Missouri and Canada to join those in good old Pennsylvania. Among those from a distance were Mrs. Samuel Siggins () and her cousin, from Woodstock, Ontario, Canada. Those of our own branch Mrs. E. Hattier Hour () and Walter Hour () from Montpelier, Indiana. George S, Howe (309), Burlington, Vermont; the rest of the guest have listings under their own names.

Warren Eve. Democrat: Thur. Aug. 2, 1900: The Siggins family are holding their annual reunion at the Park in Warren. The family is one of the largest and oldest in the county and a good time should be enjoyed by all.

Warren Tribune: Mon. Aug. 20, 1928: The Siggins family held a reunion on Sunday Aug. 19, 1928 at the home of Mr. & Mrs. William Hatch (557) at Hatch Run. A picnic dinner was served at one O'clock and fifty relatives were present from Warren, Erie, Jamestown NY, and Cleveland, Ohio.

Oil City Derrick: Tues; June 28, 1932: Justine Siggins of West Hickory was discharged from the hospital.

Justina, not married. She compiled some interesting historical sketches of the early history of the family, and arranged a most interesting and ingenious "Family Tree" on which appear the various branches of the Siggins Family.

Justina at 27 was a passenger on a ship named Baltic. It was built for White Star Line, British Flag in 1871. Rotterdam to New York service. She arrived on Oct. 8, 1894 and was listed as an artist. Living in West Hickory, Pa. The ship broke the Trans-Atlantic speed record on Jan. 1873. Sold to Holland-American line, Dutch flag in 1888 and renamed Vendome.

Justina, is buried in the Siggins Family cemetery in West Hickory, Forest Co. Pa. P. # 26.
