Kennteh B. Wheeler, better known
as "Pete," died in the Johnstown hospital
last Sunday afternoon following
an operation for an enlarged spleen
"Pete" was loved by everyone who
knew him, especially by the young
people of his own age. While the family
has lived in the West Hickory
community only a few years, the young
man had gained a wide acquaintance
The body was brought to the home
of his mother in West Hickory, where
services were conducted by Rev. Victor
Bucher of Pleasantyille, Wednesday at
2:30 p. m., with interment in the Sig-
gins cemetery. There was a very large
attendance and beautiful floral trib-
utes. The following young men friends
served as pall-bearers; John Pascarella
Robert Worem, John Diidick, Georg
Dudick, Anthony Licastro, Jerry Hin-
kle, Clarence Kinnear, Gilbert Emick
Out of town relatives and friends
attending were: Francis Wheeler of
Birmingham, Ala.. Mr. and Mrs. K. S
Burley,. Patricia Burley, Joan Burley
and Mrs. Schmidt of Pittsburgh; Mr
and Mrs. H. J. Spuhler, Mr. and Mrs
J. F. Burley of Johnstown: Mrs. Orion
Siggins, Ralph Smith of Warren; Miss
Catherine Richards of Erie; Mr. and
Mrs. C. A. Shaffer of Berlin, PA.

Kenneth, was sailing from Port Au Prince, Haiti, on Sept. 28,1920 to New York and he arrived on Oct. 4,1920. He is with his mother and is 2 years old.
