Rosie Mae Eaton Allen, age 94 was born in Wayne County, December 9, 1917 the daughter of the late William H. and Belva Dobbs Chriswell. She passed away Saturday morning, August 4th at the Wayne County Hospital.

She was united in marriage with James Hobert Eaton who passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November of 1968. She later united in marriage with Lonnie Allen who passed away in February of 1998.

She is survived by her children: Wilma Coffey; Evelyn Davis; Imogene Perdue; Dallas and David Eaton. She is preceded in death by her son: Donnie Eaton who passed away as result of a logging accident and William Arlie Eaton who died in infancy. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren: 39 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.

Rosie was the last survivor of the William H. Chriswell family, she is preceded in death by her sister and two brothers.

She had accepted Christ as her savior as a young lady and was a member of the Cooper Baptist Church at the time of her passing.
