Charlotte A. Minehart, 72, of Melbourne, Fla., passed away Friday, September 26, 2008, after a brief illness.
She was born May 11, 1936, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Calvin and Jane Heasley.
Mrs. Minehart was a graduate of Waynesburg College and received a doctorate in education from West Virginia University. She loved teaching school, and continued to teach at Hans Christian Anderson Elementary, Rockledge, Fla., until the time of her death. The staff, students and families of Anderson were essential to her enjoyment of life and well-being.
Surviving are her husband, William D. Minehart; four children, Mary Jane, Sam, Nancy and Emily; five grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Heasley.
Deceased is a sister, Barbara Weimer.
