Vester Theron Taylor, 86, died January 7, 1988 at his home near Mercer, TN. He was born April 9, 1901 in Mercer, TN to the late Robert Lee and Mary Ophelia Leathers Taylor.
Mr Taylor, a retired farmer and builder, married Annie Charmlin "Charmie" Ford on December 1, 1921 in Madison County, TN. In addition to his widow, he is survived by three sons; John Edwards (Dottie) of Clarksville, TN; Bobby Allen (Patsy) and Billy Vester (Nancy) Taylor of Mercer, TN.
He is also survived by two sisters, Hattie Pearl Taylor Laney Pentecost and Nannie Evelyn Taylor Curlin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Alma Lee Taylor and Ina Marie Taylor Maners; a brother Robert Houston Taylor.
Services are being handled by Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Springs Cemetery in Mercer, TN.
