Mrs. Newton J. Bard
Mrs. Tena Frances Bard, 90, McConnellsburg, died Tuesday, June 15, 1976, at the Fulton County, Medical Center.
Born in Saluvia, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Mellott Strait.
She was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
She was the widow of Newton J. Bard.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Winifred B. Chesnut, McConnellsburg; three sons: Lynn S. Bard, Orlen H. Bard and Orville T. Bard, all of McConnellsburg: six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, June 18, at 2:00 P.M. at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home in Harrisonville, with the Rev. Dr. David R. Hoover officiating.
Burial was in Union Cemetery.
