Johanna Achterhoff, 86, of Sioux Center died Tuesday in the Sioux Center Hospital.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the First Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. Sherwin Brantsen and the Rev. Wayne Van Regennorteer will officiate. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.
Mrs. Achterhof, the former Johnna Kraayenbrink, was born December 11, 1897, in Sioux Center. She married Louis Achterhoff March 11, 1919, at Sioux Center. He died January 24, 1966.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Bill (Aldine) Van Regenmorter, Mrs. Bill (Wilma) Brantsen and Mrs. Peter (Bertha) Mol, all of Sioux Center and Mrs. Bill (Lucille) Lammers of Sheldon; one brother, Gerrit of Sioux Center; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Published 3 April 1983
