ALGOMA - Mrs. Mary Barrette, 77, 315 Mill St., Algoma, died Wednesday morning at Algoma Memorial Hospital after a three-year illness. The former Mary Challe was born April 12, 1887, in the Town of Lincoln to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ansel Challe. She married Adolph Barrette June 14, 1904. in St. Peter Church, Lincoln, and came to Algoma 50 years ago. Mrs. Barrette was a 50-year member of the Rosary Society of St. Mary's Church, Algoma. Her husband died Dec. 27, 1945; her daughter, Mrs. Louis Reblitz of Fond du Lac, died March 29, 1959, and two sons also preceded her in death.
Survivors are one granddaughter, Mrs. Max Kirchoff, Fond du Lac, and four great grandchildren.
At Wiesner-Massart Funeral Home, Algoma. Rosary 8 each evening. Funeral 9 a.m. Saturday, St. Mary's Church, Algoma, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. F. C. Heimann officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
