He was a Christian and is now with the Lord. He was a faithful and active member of the Wakulla United Methodist Church. He enjoyed working and helping others. He always made sure the grass at the Church was cut for Sunday morning. He was a truck driver for many years and even after "retiring" a couple of times, he was still active in training new drivers and filling in when a driver was out or extra help was needed. He loved his family and they loved him deeply.
He is survived by two daughters, Sheila Vick and husband David, Brenda Mainer and husband Ricky; one son, Henry Barbree; two sisters, Jessie Mae Harvey and husband, Ray, Choppy McIver; seven grandchildren, Judy Vick, Jake Vick, Randell Mainer, RickiLee Mainer, Henry Ausley Barbree, Hannah Barbree and Haley Barbree and his best friend, Martha Barbree.
