DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Carroll "Sam" Miller, 61, beloved husband of Mrs. Shelby Miller, of Gays Circle, Dearing, Ga., died Sunday, April 22, 2001, at the McDuffie County Hospital.

Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Miller, a native of Gray, Ga., had lived in Dearing for many years. He was a mechanic with Knox-Rivers Construction Co. and was a Navy veteran. He was a member of Marshal Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Shelby Miller, Dearing; a daughter, Kelly Robinson, Dearing; two sons, Lee Miller, Thomson, and Jason Miller, Vidalia; four sisters, Agnes McCallum, Lizella, Ga., Dora Land, Musella, Ga., Ethel Graham, Warner Robins, and Phyllis Chambers, Milledgeville; and four grand-children.

Pallbearers will be Jason Penna, D.J. McGahee, Ryan McGahee, Jason Miller, Lee Miller and Dennis Robinson.
