"J. M. Constant, a former citizen of Humphreys, died Tuesday morning at his home in the east part of Galt. Mr. Constant had been friends in Humphreys and Galt who are sorry to hear of his death. Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Humphreys Thursday conducted by Elder Hunsaker. Interment was made in the Humphreys Cemetery." The Milan Republican (Milan, Missouri), February 21, 1929
