Bettie Lou Scott of North Portland died of lung cancer Thursday in her home. She was 65. At her request, no service will be held.
Mrs. Scott was born Sept. 26, 1924, in The Dalles, but had lived most of her life in Portland. Her maiden name was Zorn. She attended school in Oregon City. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Lester M. Scott, died in 1988.
Mrs. Scott is survived by her sons, Louis of Beaverton and Gary of San Diego; sister, Peggy Meador of Portland; and four grandchildren.
Disposition was by cremation.
