Edward Dwain Barringer, 75, of Allensville, died Feb. 28, 2010, at his residence.
The Black Oak, Ark., native was born April 7, 1934. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was a son of the late Alton Barringer & Lester Frasure Barringer.
Survivors include two sons, Philip Barringer, of Eureka, CA, and Brant Barringer, of St. Louis; a daughter, Phyllis Jones, of Falmouth, VA; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday at the Young Funeral Home, Russellville chapel, with burial in Belmont Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Logan County Humane Society.
