Fred J. Peckham, of Bolts Corner who has been such a great sufferer since last winter from tuberculosis, died in Auburn, Cayuga County, N.Y. on August 2, 1901 at the home of Mrs. Henry Barnes, No. 19 South St., Auburn, where he was boarding and taking treatment with Dr. Blain.

Mr. Peckham, born October 9, 1869 was the son of Charles Henry and D. Adelle Palmer Peckham. He was 31 years of age, a carpenter by trade and ambitious far beyond his strength.

Mr. Peckham leaves a wife, Minnie Richardson Peckham, a son, Charles Oscar Peckham, and a sister, Elizabeth L. Peckham. Another sister, Alice Virginia Peckham predeceased him in 1884.

The deceased was a member of the K.O.T.M. who attended the funeral in a body. The funeral which was held at the Baptist Church at Scipio Center Sunday at 2:00. Rev. P.O. Gott preached from Hebrews 13, Verse 14. The bearers were T. Colson, L. Colson, Charles Wyant fellow workmen and John Fordyce, Ed Hunter and Leslie Smith friends.
