Lloyd Edward Potter, 64, of Grant and formerly of Twin Lake, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1997 at his residence in Grant.

He was born Lloyd Edward Potter in Fremont, the son of Violet Jean Eller and Custer Eugene Potter, on Mar. 11, 1932. He married Jessie May Anderson on Sept. 8, 1952 in Ravenna.

He was a minister for Community Baptist Church of Grant and was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the Air Force from Feb. 14, 1950 to Jan. 5, 1952 when he was discharged as a Cpl (T).

Surviving are his wife, Jessie M. Potter of Grant; his children, Steven T. and Karen Potter of Grant, Faith and John Rogers of Holton, Molly and Robert Sayers of Bailey, Joy and Raymond Bridgeman of Highpoint, North Carolina, Jonathan and Bonnie Potter of Tylertown, Mississippi, and Judy and Fred Konoff of Coldwater; one daughter-in-law, Renee Potter of Battle Creek; his mother, Violet Handy of Ravenna; 31 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles and Darlene Potter of Twin Lake; two sisters, Rosemary and Tom Kooi of Fruitport and Gloria Wert of Fruitport; and one sister-in-law, Carmen Potter of Mus-
kegon.

Memorial services were held from the Newaygo United Methodist Church in Newaygo on Saturday, Mar. 1 with Mr. Steven R. Potter officiating. Interment was in the Hillside Cemetery. Arrangements by McKinley Funeral Home in Grant.
