HARRISVILLE - Marsha L. Shirkey, age 68, of Harrisville, formerly of St. Clair, died May 21, 2007.
She was born October 27, 1938 in Detroit.
On August 24, 1957 Marsha Foss married Elmer Shirkey in Port Huron.
She retired from the City of St. Clair Recreation Dept. and was an election official in Alcona County.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer; children, Diane Shirkey of Port Huron, Doug (Deborah) Shirkey of Macomb Twp., David (Paula) Shirkey of Lenox and Dawn Shirkey of Port Huron; grandchildren, April, Jessica, Daniel, Amy, and Michael;
sister, Joyce (Harold) Sheets of Clinton Twp.; and several nieces and nephews, and two special companions, Mickey and Baby Andy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Edna Foss; infant son, Daniel Shirkey; and brother, Frank Foss Jr.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp.
Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
Visiting hours are 6 to 9 p.m. today, 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday.
Memorials may be made to the Arc of St. Clair County.
