Fred Emil Klindt, 82, of Eugene, died Sunday at Charles E. Still Hospital in Jefferson City. Mr. Klindt was born march 9, 1887 in Miller County, the son of John and Fredrika Becker Klindt. He was married in 1954 to Minnie Messersmith who survives.
Other survivors include: Two sons, Milburn Klindt, Jefferson City: Kenneth Klindt, Eugene: three step-daughters, Mrs. Juanita Stillwell, Eldon, Mrs. Mildred Gray, Panama, Mrs. Betty Smith, Tuscumbia: one step-son, John Messersmith, Woodlawn, Va; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Eugene Christian Church with the Rev. A.L. Alexander officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Garden Cemetery.
Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, is in charge of arrangements.
