The rosary will be recited in the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home Chapel for former Taft resident Frances Marie Adams, 81. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church and burial will follow in the West Side Cemetery. The pastor of St. Mary's will be the celebrant.
Mrs. Adams was born Clay County, Arkansas, December 3, 1911 and passed away in a Pomona hospital Wednesday evening, February 17, 1993.
She worked as a licensed vocational nurse for over 38 years. During these years of service as a nurse she devoted her life to the care of others.
She came to California in 1946 and lived in Taft from 1947-73 when she moved to Upland.
She was preceded in death by a son, Doyle Adams. Her survivors include her children and their spouses, a brother, sister, 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
