Jim is the son of Hattie June and James Erwin Haas Sr. He was born Sept 12, 1959 ,In Buffalo, New York, Moving with is parents to Colorado in 1960. He attended High School in Northglen Colorado.While in high school Jim played trumpet and tuba in the HS band and bass in the Blue Knights marching band. After graduation he joined the Navy and served aboard the Midway. He worked as electro mechanical Technician for CBW Automation. Jim's dog Angel was with him till the end. Never leaving his side. He is buried next to his Mom which he loved very much. Angels ashes are buried with him.
