DOROTHY A. KARBOWSKI
Dorothy A. Karbowski, of Two Rivers passed away peacefully at home
surrounded by her family, on Jan. 7, 2002 after battling cancer.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 11, 2002 at 9:30 a.m.
at The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, 10 a.m. at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of
Christian Burial will be the Rev. William O'Brien, with burial to
follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Dorothy was born on Nov 16, 1925 in Marinette, Wis., daughter of
the late Geoffrey and Ida Bruneau Hebert. She was a graduate of
Washington High School, Two Rivers. On Sept. 4, 1948, she married
Ray Karbowski at St. Mark Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Dorothy was
employed with the Two Rivers Public Schools System until her
retirement in 1988. She was a member of the French Canadian Association,
Two Rivers, the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 1248, Knights of Columbus
Auxiliary Post 1957, Two Rivers Senior Center and the Green Bay Diocesan
Choir. She was also an active volunteer with R.S.V.P. (Retired Senior
Volunteer Program).

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Judith Ann and four
brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002 at The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two
Rivers where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. led by the Rev.
William O'Brien.
The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
