He retired from Philip Morris Tobacco Co. with over 35 years of service. He was a U. S. Army veteran and a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Novella K. Anderson; daughters, Patti Dixon (Keith), Lisa Owen (Ray), and Jennifer Hampton (Randy); sons, Marshall Anderson (Pam) and Jeff Anderson (Claribeth); stepchildren, Anita Cohn (Louis), Bonnie Springer (Frank), Deborah Shofner, Michael Hornback (Melinda), and Linda McDonald; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his brother, Joe Anderson; and sisters, Lois Harris and Naomi Kirby.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Anderson Cemetery, Quality, KY.
Visitation is 1-9 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
