He was retired from the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his caregivers, Sam Wildman and Judith I. Poling of Nashville.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Clear Creek Cemetery in Bloomington.
