Khaki L. Collins (Lou Ann Brummett) Age 47 of Cedar City, UT, formerly of New Palestine, IN, died March 22, 2006 in Indpls., IN. She was born March 23, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN to James and Doris (Dickerson) Brummett, who survive.
Khaki graduated from New Palestine High School. She was a model and was in various bands as a drummer and singer. Khaki studied hair design in New York and Italy and owned and operated Day Spa's in Broad Ripple, Avon, Mooresville and Utah, retiring in 2002. Khaki was a Christian with a kind heart who loved to do volunteer work and had a love for animals.
She is survived by loving husband, Bill W. Collins; children, Adam Bennett, Micki Sheridan; stepchildren, Billy Collins, Chad Collins, Brittany Collins; sister, Debbie Owens; granddaughter, Maizey Lexus; nephew, Devin Owens.
Services for Khaki will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2006 in Flanner & Buchanan Community Life Center at Washington Park East, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2006. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
