Mr. Arnold, 89 years old, died Monday at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 6, 1903, in New Madrid County, the son of George and Josephine Johnson Arnold. He and Emma Marie Black were married Dec. 25, 1927.
He was an electrician with Southern Equipment Co. in St. Louis, retiring in 1970 and moving to Morley.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church here, and IBEW Local 1 in St. Louis.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jack Arnold; a daughter, June Leavitt; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, grandson, brother and three sisters.
